I don't know much about Chaput beyond his official bio on the Archdiocese of Denver site. Philly is a conservative Archdiocese; we need a good, solid traditionalist as a Cardinal.
In many ways, I feel bad for Rigali. He got handed a bag of poop by Bevilaqua, and I don't think anyone could have handled the situation appropriately.
