Question, while watching the video I posted, they mentioned something about the priesthood.

In it, it was mentioned that only those of the line of Aaron were considered priests in OT times. The BoM claims that Lehi was a priest and conferred the priesthood on his sons. Yet he was supposedly of the line of Joseph, not Aaron.

I’m not sure I understand the whole lineage thing, but if the claim (Lehi being a priest) in the BoM contradicts the OT law, then doesn’t this mean that the BoM is based on yet another false claim of authority?

The only ones who could serve as priest were those descendants of Aaron/Levi. As such, the bom contradicts OT law and is evidence of further fraud by Smith.
