Except, of course, for this one - 1 Cor. 3:1617.
Which is completely taken out of context and misused.
This LDS teaching is unbiblical, not to mention legalistic
16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God, which you are, is holy.
That sounds like he is saying you shall not kill, i.e. murder. What do you think it means?
1. We must keep our bodies clean.
We must not pollute our mortal tabernacles in any way. We must live the Word of Wisdom; we must not misuse our powers of procreation; we must do whatever is possible to avoid disease or other enemies of our physical bodies.
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. (1 Cor. 3:1617.)

Wheres the mention of the requiremment to “keep our bodies clean” in that Christian Bible scripture ???
Wheres the identification of any “other enemies of our physical bodies” in that Christian Bible scripture ???
In other words the mormon author misused the Christian Bible scripture and took it way out of context becauser knowing his Mormon readers and audience he was relying on them just to swallow the mormon doctrine Kool Ade and not to think for themselves and act like the noble Bereans and check on what they read...
He knew that the enslaved yes-men Mormons are not like free and questioning Christians...
