Women Abduct Man for Satanic Ritual: victim slashed over 300 times

Mug shots of Rebecca Chandler, 22, and Raven "Scarlett" Larrabee, 20
Think the Devil doesn’t exist? Gaze into these lovely ladies’ eyes and think again! This past Sunday, two women were arrested in Milwaukee, Wisconsin after a man claims he was held hostage in a Satanic Sex Ritual. According to police reports the man suffered in excess of 300 stabbings, cuts and punctures.

He is expected to survive, and perhaps tell of his entire ordeal at a future date. But until then, here’s the scoop we have at present.

Ruben Vatin, 18-years old, decided to hop a bus last week from Arizona to meet a woman he found on-line. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the young man who travelled by bus from his home in Phoenix, AZ to Milwaukee, WI did hope for a sexual encounter with Rebecca Chandler, 22, after chatting it up on-line.

I guess Ruben thought, ‘It’s worth it to travel days to meet my dream girl, fall in love etc. etc. etc. Only problem is that the horror that befell him is more worthy of a nightmare than a love story. Now he very well could be questioning in his hospital bed if indeed he was lured into a death trap?

After he went to his on-line friend’s apartment in downtown Milwaukee, he says he was held hostage for two-days and tortured in some kind of Satanic sex stabbing.

Vatin claims that Rebecca Chandler, 22, with her roommate Raven “Scarlett” Larabee, 20, bound him, restraining him with rope and duct tape. Apparently, on November 7, he managed to call 911. Court papers indicate that Vatin, partially nude, barely escaped with his life from a third floor apartment on Sunday night.

When officers arrived to an apartment building they found him, “bleeding from the neck, arms and back.” He told police that a woman had, “bound and stabbed” him more than “300 times.”

A neighbor told local media, “There was a lot of blood, nobody was telling us anything.”
The police affidavit says that Vatin was wounded after the sex “got out of hand”. Upon arriving at the scene police followed a trail of blood to the apartment after the victim had already escaped.

“I think you are here looking for me,” Chandler told cops as they arrived.

According to court documents, Chandler told detectives she was having sex with the victim, and that the cutting was consensual but that it got out of hand. Chandler also told police her roommate of a few months, “Scarlett” did the majority of the cutting.

Chandler claims she doesn’t know “Scarlett’s” real name, but she thinks “Scarlett” is involved in the occult.

Investigators found a large amount of blood on the floor and on bedding, as well as bloody rope and “duct tape fashioned in a manner that appeared to be a restraint”.

Books and documents related to Satanic worship and the occult were also seized from the home. According to an affidavit posted on-line, a number of items seized with the search warrant were several occult books and materials: a book titled “Werewolf’s Guide to Life,” the “Necromantic Ritual Book,” which claims to teach consciousness with the Angel of Death on an ‘intimate level’, as well as a black folder called “Intro to Sigilborne Spirits.” According to various websites, Sigilborne spirits include female werewolf spirits who engage in sexual acts.

Necromantic Ritual Book found at Stabbers' Apartment

Police reported that they found a pool of blood inside the apartment and blood stains were still visible on the banisters and walls.

Both women are being held in Milwaukee County Jail on $150,000 bail where they are expected to be charged.

It is to be remembered that St. Maximilian Kolbe said, “Modern times are dominated by Satan and will be more so in the future. The conflict with hell cannot be engaged by men, not ever the most clever.”

As Father Martin, former Jesuit exorcist used to say, “we can only measure our love of God by our fear.” Meaning the spiritual realities of a real, full-fledged war between good and evil should if only by fear increase our faith in a loving God. Although the spiritual realities are often veiled in this world, a story like this floodlights the shocking dark forces at work. Fr. Martin did say before his death that he witnessed a shocking increase in demonic possessions. In these times, Christians need to rely all the more on Him who is Love–that inexhaustible Love who defeats any dark hearts among us.

Now on a somewhat lighter note. Not far from where the girls reside in Milwaukee, an occult/metaphysical shop called House of Magick exists. Shop owner reported to the media that he believes the “girls wanted a submissive male so that they could get his blood” for an occult ritual. How romantic! What happened to cooking a lovely meal, candles and sharing a bottle of wine? Why have moderns made dating so so challenging?

For an otherwise gruesome story, we can thank some news sources who still have a healthy sense of humor, which is very helpful in restoring some sanity in the world. On the trials and tribulations we moderns suffer at the hands of internet dating,  I think the below image says it all.

Oh, and there is one last “cut” in this story. Apparently, media reports state that Ruben Vatin’s has been able to update to his Facebook page. His status simply and bizarrely reads “Stitches”.  One can only wonder how he’ll explain away his odd legion of scars to his next girlfriend.

MORE BACKGROUND ON NECROMANCY

Necromancy is the black art of evoking the dead and comes from the Greek (nekros, “dead”, and manteia, “divination”). According to the Catholic encyclopedia:

Necromancy is a special mode of divination by the evocation of the dead…the term suggests “black” magic or “black” art…and the possibility of communication between the living and the dead.

The Bible forbids necromancy (Leviticus 19:31;20:6), stating that to seek information from the dead is abhorred by God (Deuteronomy 18:11,12) and even punishable with death (Leviticus 20:27; cf. 1 Samuel 28:9).

Again from the Catholic encyclopedia:

The best known case of necromancy in the Bible is the evocation of the soul of Samuel at Endor (1 Samuel 28). KingSaul was at war with the Philistines, whose army had gathered near that of Israel. He “was afraid and his heart was very much dismayed. And he consulted the Lord, and he answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by priests, nor by prophets” (5, 6). Then he went to Endor, to a woman who had “a divining spirit”, and persuaded her to call the soul of Samuel.

I hope the young man recovers his senses, in addition to his health. His actions here were not of good intent, but less so than the women by far. For their part, it is worth saying something my parish priest told me in my youth, many years ago:while a person dabbling with the occult may receive an answer, it will not be from those you think; it will be diabolical in origin. And every step in that direction is of deadly peril to one’s soul.

I think the Fr Martin mentioned in the article is Fr Malachi Martin, the exorcist who wrote Hostage to the Devil: The Possession and Exorcism of Five Contemporary Americans.

I have read it several times...very good account of such stuff. This book is one of the sources for the chapters focusing on demonic evil in Scott Peck's book, People of the Lie. Another good book on evil.

This is the flip side of the woman who “befriended” Afghan immigrants in Serbia and found herself being gang-raped by her “friends.” I wish the young man a full recovery, but honestly ... bad things like this happen to stupid people a lot more often than to J. Random Citizen.

Thanks - I just ordered that book (Hostage to the Devil). I have read several introductions and snippets from it, but never the whole book itself.

I have witnessed demonic evil over a person first hand. It is hard to describe it in mere words. "Horrible" and "Terrifying" are a good start.

But, one thing that that most people don't realize is that, after a time, there is a banality of evil. You sort of accept it without being shocked anymore, and I believe that is part of Lucifer's attack. You see that in our culture. Images, words, videos, crimes, and actions that would have shocked us at one time are now ho hum, and elicit no great reaction.

Only God can give us the discernment to see this evil, and only God can provide the strength to overcome it.

Interesting books. I have to disagree with Peck though:

"Evil is the exercise of power, the imposing of one's will upon others by overt or covert coercion". "The core of evil is ego-centricity, whereby others are sacrificed rather than the ego of the individual."

That is not evil, only bad. Bad people do things for selfish gain; evil people commit their crimes for the sheer sake of evil. The only ego involved in such acts is found in the demon who owns these twisted souls.

That is one of the reasons that true evil is so disconcerting to liberals. It destroys their central myth that people are good and circumstances drove the poor victim (criminal) to their desparate acts.

The first time I read "Hostage..." I was staying at a bed & breakfast in Connecticut on vacation. After reading it at night, I would put the book in the swing on the veranda. Couldn't sleep in the same room with it.

Very scary book!

Ever checked out the TEEN section of your local library?

They are filled with occult themed books ,and there are several women churning out vampire novels.

The librarians FIGHT to keep immoral garbage like that on the shelves, crying censorship at anyone asking for a return to decency. But censorship of the bad is what protects family, nation, and culture.

They stabbed the guy 300 times and he lived? Them girls need some stabbing lessons, either that or a lot of heavy-duty prayers and some years of incarceration.

I have only the deepest distrust for Peck since he declared that people opposed to abortion were evil, and more generally, conservatives.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. People think they can play with satan, only to find out that he don’t play.

This certainly helps explain the OWS movement.

I vote for the latter, although with their attitudes they might get some stabbing lessons in the pen.
