From the article: “We knocked on doors from morning until quite late in the evening,” he said. “We didn’t convert one person in five months. So, you understand the rejection..."

That was because of Mormonism itself!

Besides, the Bible knows NOTHING of proselyting other than what Jesus told the Pharisees about their legalistic proselytizing: 15 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are. (Matt. 23:15)

True discipleship resulting in true followers of Jesus Christ is sourced in the Holy Spirit operating both directly and indirectly through others: ...no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. (1 Cor. 12:3)

Just as likely it was because he was in France where participation in Christan religions is almost non existent and the the religion that has the most activity is Islam.

Thank God. Imagine being French and being told that you can’t drink or smoke anymore or even eat your mom’s home cooking again, because of the alcohol in the food. Of course they didn’t convert anybody.

That’s par for the course Mittens because if it weren’t for the media you’d be polling single digits. You aren’t converting anyone.

5 months? Every Mormon kid I’ve ever known goes on a two year mission. Why was Romney’s so short?

That was my question. Every kid in our neighborhood in Bountiful, Utah went on a mission for 2 years (paid for by the family of course). Mittens must have been a total failure.

Mitt is unable to develop followers except by buying them.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

“Talk about your rejections as a missionary knocking on door, after door, after door in a hostile environment,” Scarborough asked.

His Mormon mission was where he learned to lie through his teeth.

I’m glad the French didn’t fall for it.

Romney, unlike just about every Mormon missionary out there, got "promoted" to "Assistant to the Missionary President" and lived in a palace:
US election 2012: Mitt Romney's life as a poor Mormon missionary in France questioned

The above-linked article says that Romney handlers told the Lds missionary president not to speak about Romney's residential quarters in France.

While in Paris, Romney was driving a vehicle that was involved in a car accident. The wife of the Missionary President died.
