I find the Holy Spirit to be most helpful to my daily life and unveiling God’s Word. I am so thankful that God will dwell in the hearts of all Believers that ask in faith.

If it were written in any language and the translation were there for us, then I would understand it’s use better. I haven’t found “scripture alone” (English translation) anywhere when I read it. If you can point it out to me, then I’ll admit I’m wrong.
Salvation is closer from the Word, than from the Church.

as the eunuch said in Acts 8, how is someone to understand Scripture unless someone explains it.
who is this someone authorized by Jesus in Matthew 28 to teach? THE CHURCH.
finally, reading Scripture can not baptize you. who did Jesus authorize to baptize in Matthew 28? you guessed it, THE CHURCH.
men have been thrown into nazi and communist prisons, without access to the Scriptures and preached Christ and converted many souls to Christ. who were these men? you guessed it, THE CHURCH.

1) The “Word of God”
2) The “Word of the Lord”
The Holy Spirit is not going to lead some men to believe new doctrines in the 16th century, that He did not lead other men to believe for the first 15 centuries of Christianity.
for example, for 1,500 years, Christans believed in baptismal regeneration. some men claimed to be inspired by the Holy Spirit to reject in the 16th century. does that make sense to you?

Regardless of the object of the attack, this original post is a vicious attack on the deeply held, biblical beliefs of a vast portion of Christianity. How would Catholics feel if this were directed at their teaching unprovoked?

You are begging the question and throwing a red herring as to whether or not the Protestant dogma of Sola Scriptura is biblical.
I don't interpret the Bible .. I read it ... it's written in understandable English.
And it DOES stand alone as The Word of God.
