I just do not understand why people won't believe that God says what He means and means what He says. I've included you marbren, because of our earlier conversation. Perhaps what I'm saying here will bring it more together for you.

Just for a moment, take Paul completely out of the BIble. Every time his name is mentioned, every Epistle, every letter he wrote, every mention of him and his message. What is left? We have the OT, prophecies concerning Israel and her being a Nation of priests and a blessing to all nations. (Gentiles). We have the prophecies of a Messiah who would come to set up His Kingdom in Jerusalem, and rule this world for 1000 years. We have the promise He made Peter and the 11 that they would sit upon twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel when Christ sets up His Millenial Kingdom. We have Christ instructing Peter and the 11 to go into all nations and spread the gospel of the Kingdom, BEGINNING at Jerusalem. We have His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to sit on the right hand of God until His enemies are made a footstool. We have the warning that God's wrath will be poured out on an unbelieving world before Christ returns. We have Peter standing up on the day of Pentecost preaching the message that he and the 11 were given by Christ.

We have Peter and the 11 speaking to WHO in Acts 2 and 3? Please note who they were speaking to. To Jews and Gentiles? NO. To the Nation Israel. And also note, were they preaching the good news that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again for our justification and salvation? NO. They were NOT preaching the gospel of the grace of God. Please read the first part of Acts prayerfully and see WHO they were speaking to and WHAT they were speaking of.

Then we have the stoning of Stephen, in Acts 8. Stephen says he saw Christ STANDING on the right hand of GOd. Is this important? First He was sitting, now He was STANDING. You bet it's important. Standing means JUDGEMENT. Judgement was about to fall on Israel. The wrath of God was about to be poured out. But exactly WHY? First, the Jews ALLOWED the murder of John the Baptist. Second, they DEMANDED the murder of Jesus Christ. Third, they MURDERED Stephen themselves. Strike three for Israel.

But judgement does NOT fall. (Acts 9 through Philemon). But we are going to leave Paul out of this discussion for now.

Without the rest of Acts, Paul, and Romans through Philemon, the next happening would be in Hebrews. Notice who the Book is written to: THE HEBREWS. Israel again. Same with the next Book: James: TO THE TWELVE TRIBES SCATTERED ABROAD. And on and on until the end of the Book of Revelation. God dealing with Israel, gathering her together, His wrath falling, tribulation saints going into the Millenial Kingdom, Christ's 2nd coming, setting up His Kingdom, Peter and the 11 judging the twelve tribes of Israel, and Israel becoming a Nation of Priest and a blessing to all nations (Gentiles) during the Millenial Reign of Christ.

See the uniformity of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. From Abraham to Moses to David to Christ. All the covenants made with the nation Israel fully fulfilled.

The only part missing from this is Paul. His message from the risen Christ. The Church the Body of Christ. The gospel of the grace of God. The rapture. The mystery hid in God. Without Paul, NONE of this is evident. Gentile's blessings before the dispensation of grace were all dependant on the RISE of Israel. Gentile's blessing AFTER the dispensation of grace ends is through the RISE of Israel, once again. Only during the dispensation of grace are OUR blessing dependant on the FALL of Israel. Her temporary blindness. And that is found ONLY in Paul's God-given Scriptures. That, too is for a reason. But I've gone on too long for now. ;)

Thank You smvoice. When Peter mentions fire judgment does this come after the millennium? How about the 7 churches of Revelation?
