I hope Rev. J. Michael Venditti doesn’t get into too much trouble with his own Bishop for writing it.
Our priest got into trouble with our bishop for stating that anyone that voted for the pro abortionist Obama needed to go to confession!
And in sentence, you nailed the problem.
The bishops in the Catholic church are much more afraid of offending the liberals than the orthodox. The liberals have the money, and will leave. The orthodox don’t feel that they can.
This isn’t just a Catholic problem. My own synod has the same issues.
