You posted to me as an answer to this post, so don't be cute. I realize that that you are at a disadvantage when discussing Christianity with a Christian. But pray continue. It will prove eye-opening to the lurkers who do not know what the antiChristians will stoop to.
You do not know the scriptures, apparently, especially Matthew. Every practice of the catholic church is condemned therein by Christ. The three that I noted are the most grievous ones, but there are many.
I see. So my quotations from Matthew, with the addition of NT quotes from other books do not make any difference to you? Fascinating. A practioner of the book. Have you had training in Islam, perhaps?
Nothing in any of the gospels describes creation of the church; the gospels were about the life and ministry of Christ. Paul was completely responsible for presenting all the practices of the real church, and aside from the remembrance of Christs crucifixion, and the baptism of the new believers after they were saved, it differed little from what they had studied all of their lives in Torah.
That's a fascinating take on the Gospels. Matthew in detail describes the creation of the Church. Paul on the other hand, describes how the Church was first launched in the most detail. Have you become a Paulian now instead of a Christian? How does that square with your beliefs?
