So, what happens if the Catholic hospitals simply refuse to abandon their principles and decide to carry on as usual?

slowly but surely since the late 70s,every single Catholic hospital in nyc closed down and many of us believe it was due to the “selectively” slow rate of medicaid reimbursement to these institutions along with them taking any and every uninsured patient .
Now some will say it was due to mismanagement but then how are Bellevue,Coney Island and all the rest of nyc HHC staying open with their track record of waste etc ?
The closure of the last one standing at that time,StVincents remains grievous.
