The former president said that he complained to the Pontiff about the Church’s “perpetuation of the subservience of women”... Carter said that he classified the Pope as a “fundamentalist,” placing him in that category along with Iran’s late Ayatollah Khomeini.

Most embarrassing president ever.

Well, all I can say is, religiously I’m a Fundamentalist.

I’m proud to be so.

Anyone calling me a Fundamentalist offers me a high compliment.

It’s the other words you can put with that that would make it less so.

Apparently for all his intellignece (you have to have it to be a nuc sub driver) JEC missed this bit:

“Catholic Fundamentalist” is not the same as “Muslim Fundamentlist” is not the same as “Baptist Fundamentalist” (that’s me).

The Pope doesn’t send out “youths” with ‘splodey vests; imams don’t pray for the “unsaved”; and I don’t use a rosary.

That’s just for starters. But I’m syopping here. People with common sense already get it.
