Ummm...according to your Mormonism, the actual date is April 6th, same as his birth and the forming of the LDS church - not April 8th.

His Birth was April 6. He arose, alive, on what we now call Easter Sunday, which this year falls on April 8th.
According to Catholics, the date changes each year.
