It’s a great science-fiction story ... if you’re into that sort of thing, you’d probably enjoy it.
In any case, the primary villains were a race of ‘space aliens’ that took over human bodies and tried (with varying success, and with the aid of some fancy high technology) to pass themselves off as ‘gods’. Most of them had odd, stilted, slightly robotic speech patterns.
0bama reminds me of one of them.
I’ve watched quite a bit of Star Trek. Never tried Stargate, Firefly, Battlestar or Babylon. My cousin likes them, though.
I’ll have to look them up.
