The Apostle Paul said in 2Corinthians 4:18 "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." Notice he said don't put your focus on what you can see, but on what you can't see. And a lot of times we get so engrossed with the problem that it's all we focus on and we line ourselves up with the problem. We think it, we talk it, and we walk in it. We want to call our friends and tell them all about it and that's the opposite of what the scripture says. You as a child of God has to be especially careful of what you say in times of trouble. You don't need to tell all your friends and have them agree with you because the Bible say, "In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established." So the more people agree with you the more it's settled in your life.
And you as a child of God has to understand the power that God has invested in your words. The finished work of Jesus on the cross has benefits for you today. In Ecclesiastes 8:4 it says, "Where the word of the king is there is power: and who may say to him, What doest thou." Well, what do kings do they make a decree and it is carried out. That goes along with Job 22:28 "Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto you." You don't have to let your trouble dictate what will be, you have some say about what happens. You don't even have to argue with the devil because he has no say you have all the authority. In Deuteronomy 21:5 it says, at the word of the priest shall every controversy and every stroke be tried(settled). So don't let the devil get the last word you open your mouth and answer him. Now you might say what does that have to do with me, it goes back to the finished work of Jesus. Because in Revelations 1:6 it says Jesus Christ has made us kings and priests unto God. So it's your words that have the power. You have the last word not the devil. So in your time of trouble make sure you get your words right.

How can I stand in the public square and make my futile gesture, to tell this part of the world someone is willing to look a fool, in order to toe a line, and shout all is not right? If I’m alone, I’ve been a fool before. But a lot of fools and a lot of useless gestures on the same page are not unnoticed.
I’m a revolutionary cell of one. I’m conservative as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore. The greatest revolutionary of all time chose twelve fools and rescued the world. Now is the time for every fool to employ their futility for the sake of our country...until every power mad washington overlord looks under his bed and sleeps on thorns.

No. I was looking at the Google traffic map just before leaving for the City. There was a long line of red and black leading to the tunnel. Radio reports said a one hour delay at the Lincoln and a half hour at the Holland (They lied.) so I headed for the Holland which normally adds 15 minutes to my trip. My usual 35 minute, no traffic trip took ten minutes short of two hours. But I'm back in NJ now, thank you.
