Stanislaus is now 91, isn’t he? My favorite ballplayer. If he hadn’t ruined his arm, he would have been the complete player. Not as good as DiMaggio at his best, but the Yankee clipper was always fragile. Musial, despite his size, was very, very put together. Very, very fast, which he why he hit so many doubles and triples.
And he must have been thrilled when the St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series last year as well. :)
