Great idea! Let's split the Republican/Conservative vote and let Obama back into the White House! If BO gets a second term we can kiss this once great USA goodbye. He will be unfettered in his destruction. Don't say we can rein him in if we get the House and Senate. He has shown he doesn't care what the People want. He will Executive Order everything he hasn't been able to achieve and the USA will be toast crumbs.

Of the myriad of reasons to run a third-party candidate against Mitt Romney, “Because he’s a Mormon” would not make the top 100.

To run one?

Doesn't matter. The Constitution Party has run one for several elections now despite who the GoP had.

But to vote for a third-party because of Romney's Mormonism?

Different story.

All kinds of reasons to NOT vote for Romney...
...liberal
...big govt socialistic healthcare pioneer
...pro-abortion
...pro-global warming
...pro liberal judge appointment track record
...untrustworthy
...if he lacks discernment in what he thinks is the most important area of his life, how gullible will he be in foreign policy issues?

That last one dovetails with his Mormonism.

As does the reality that if Obama declared himself Messiah II, that, too, would be worth considering...(temple Mormons deem themselves to be "gods in embryo" on their way to full-grown godhood)

Also, not very inspiring when a temple Mormon deems you the voter to be a Christian "apostate"...kind of exactly like Muslims who believe that Christians are "infidels"...

Sorry...neither one is inspiring to us Christian voters.

I pass on Romney and Obama.

>>>>Great idea! Let’s split the Republican/Conservative vote and let Obama back into the White House!<<<

The RINO’s, GOP establishment, and ignorant or weak willed “conservatives” have split the Republican/Conservative vote by nominating a LIBERAL, PRO-ABORTION, ANTI-GUN, PRO-ILLEGAL, PRO-HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA, BIG GOVERNMENT, SOCIALIST, who as governor created a SOCIALIZED MEDICINE program.

THEY chose 4 more years for Obama, not us!

We didn’t leave the Republican Party, the Republican Party left us.

I dunno Ted, it'd be hard.

Looks like it will be a summer for the religious zealots to hold forth and pound their pulpits while revealing their thinly veiled bigotry.

If you have a religion, other than mormonism, you are an apostate gentile and therefore damned, according to mormons. Now you may or may not care what mormons think about you or your religion but you gotta admit, that's "bigotry" (and not even "thinly" veiled at that).

The lds-org denies that Jesus is the Creator, that everything was created BY Him.

The lds-org is a thief of the Name and the Truth of Jesus Christ.

Yes. But I will not help Obama completely destroy this once great USA. I acknowledge that the vast majority of this country is not as Conservative as I. I WILL NOT help Obama win. The Republican Establishment won the nomination process this time. Don't pretend the country elected Reagan because it was more Conservative then. He played to the Middle, too. I am not a Romney fan but will vote for him hoping he will become more Conservative in office, like Reagan.

Yes. But I will not help Obama completely destroy this once great USA.

Which is worse long-term for this nation? The direct frontal assault on our country by Obama with the conservative wing of the Republican Party still a viable force of oppostion or the subtle assault on the nation by Romney while he and the GOP-e disable the conservative wing of the party? On what major political issue is there a substantive difference between Obama and Romney?

I'll not be party to either man destroying our nation. Like Colofornian, Romney's Mormonism plays a very small factor in my opposition to him. Mitt Romney is among a small handful of liberals Republicans in the almost 50 years I been following politics which under no circumstance would I vote for. I wouldn't vote for Mitt Romney is he and his family were evangelical Christians and part of my local church body.

Too all on this thread: What's the deal with the ad hominen attacks on this pastor? I don't know anything about this guy but we're supposed to be dealing with what he said, not what he is. The worst human being in the world can be right sometimes. The "two sides of the Satan coin" statement might be stated without tact but I don't see how a Christian can come to any other conclusion that in God's eyes, these are two Godless men and enemies of His Church.
