While I have never put much stock into the propaganda the MSM pukes out each day, after working in the printing industry for over 26 years and dealing with newspapers world wide, I can tell you their most powerful tool is the spike.
They don’t have to lie. The don’t have to distort. They just spike the story and hope their other fellow travelers do the same. If they do run a story which does not support the agenda, they simply only report half truths. Again not lying but only presenting one side.
When it was just the ultra liberal alphabet networks and our tax funded PBS this was easy and everyone was happy.
Now comes FOX which probably has the same accuracy of REPORTED stories (aka not spiked) as journalists are almost never experts in the field they are reporting.
Even on FR you will get people who slam FOX and Glenn Beck but I absolutely guarantee you, most of what we know about this obomination in the White Hut is thanks to FOX and Glenn and those organizations like Breitbart who funneled stories the MSM had already spiked because it did not fit their communist agenda.
Hell, even members of congress are rather silent about the usurper using Executive Orders to do end runs around them.
We have all seen the lies/distortion of the MSM in the T. Martin case so it is obvious even today the MSM continues their attempt to manipulate the minds of the public.
If you want to know the core root of this deliberate deceit simply read the communist manifesto and you will realize they have almost completely achieved their goal of communist victory in the USA without firing a shot.
The communists have laid a permanent Marxist foundation in the public schools. Supplied the public schools with commie union teachers. Filled our universities with commie professors to a sufficient level that they can completely block any debate which does not support their Marxist beliefs.
They have deliberately contaminated our law schools to the point where we have legions of lawyers who actually think the Constitution can be changed by case law and not by amendments.
The communists are at their best in our schools of journalism cranking out good little Marxists/Maoists every year to present to all of us only the news which supports their agenda.
Finally, notice how the OWS morons were enraged at the evil banks who loaned them money so they could attend all these Marxist universities without questioning for one nano-second that the real cause of the huge student loan problem was the exorbitant cost structure on the universities and their professors. No the Marxists have them convince it was the evil banks.
Gee I never saw any stories of banks holding a gun to these ungrateful savages and forcing them to take out loans.

It was talk radio before it was Fox, and then of course the king of anti-spiking that is the internet. I don’t wanna downplay Fox, because who could have imagined in 1980, for instance, that eventually a 24-hour non-lib news network would beat out all the lib networks. But it’s the internet more than anything which gets the word out.
