The Podengo can out-cat any cat, any time.

If I had a dime for every “mouse gift” she’s given me, I’d be rich.

And I’ve been watching her *very* closely.

When she acts funny, I run to see what she’s after.

So far, just mice.

Alice eats mice, right? Or....not the live ones?

Maybe Podengo is going near where Alice is....where the food’s at.

Heck, I don’t know anything about snakes. I’m just feeling bad for ya...

He eats thawed mice.

She goes after everything that moves.

Murderous little love bunny, is she.

Sounds as if you have been thinking *way* ahead of all of us. :)

From this morning's newz...on the wet-coast...

Is anyone missing a snake?

That sure looks like a Rainbow Boa.

They should all have gloves on.

RBs have pissy attitudes.

Dang. Still no joy, huh?

Keeping you and Alice in my thoughts.

Alice: I’m not lost, I’m just on a slitherabout!

ROFL!

The BP forum people always refer to their snakes being on a “walkabout” when they escape but that’s much more apropos.

:)

[just wait until he shows up and finds out that I put a deposit on a *wicked* Super Pastel male...that’ll teach him to leave me with an empty tank and broken heart!]

Meet "Boo Radley"

So named for the 'smiling ghost face" hidden cleverly in his markings.

[*sigh*..who am I kidding? I really want my plain ol' Pastel baby home]

Drat! Was hoping for better news this morning. I have no suggestions as I’m owned by cats and they do as they damned well please!

Increasing prayers that your naughty one decides soon that running away from home isn’t all it’s cracked up to be!

I was thinking more along the lines of a sewer inspection camera which is a lot longer than 6 feet, but I’m not sure if the cable would be of the correct stiffness for shooting between wall studs or what. Septic tank services would have something along those lines.

As far as type O, the last two albums were just great, especially dead again. I wish we could have had about 10 more along those lines.

Freegards, good luck

Handsome! I see an alien face on his head and a smiling face in the fat - er - fluffier of the U-bends there. Accourse I know you'd much rather see your trusting, lovey boy home. You've described him in such personable terms, I must ask: Say Alice finally wends his way home and finds ole Boo there all comfy in his former tank and in Mommy's lap... so, do snakes pout?

They pout.
They sulk.
They mope.
They get “jealous”.
They ‘act out’.

They’re not the mindless beings some think they are.

For all of that, they’re apparently not very swift when it comes to backtracking their trail.

If I ever see him again, I don’t think he’s going to have to worry about being demoted to second fiddle.

Our friend’s pet boa escaped once and was found MONTHS later, hibernating up on a shelf in the closet. She discovered it, reaching up on the shelf. Surprise!
I picture Alice in God’s loving embrace, right this very minute.

That has to be the most adorable Shel Silverstein sketch EVER!
This whole thread is making me rethink my former anti-snake prejudice.

Boas are smart.

Ball Pythons, not so much.

I *hope* Alice has the sense to hunker down somewhere safe *inside* the house rather than wandering off inside the actual walls.

I went through another two rooms today.

Frankly, I’m exhausted.

[and now I’m having to cope with a pack of FR jackals applauding some creep who intentionally froze dozens of his BPs to death]

I’m sorry if you thought I was applauding anything.

To be honest, I was hoping given how well known and well liked you are, to hear it from you about snakes might open some minds and make them willing to admit perhaps what they thought they knew wasn’t quite correct.
