Jesus Christ is revealed clearly in the OT and NT as the propitiation for the sins of man. What is also revealed is "He who denies the Son, the same does NOT have the Father." (1 John 2:23) and "He that honors NOT the Son honors NOT the Father" (John 5:23). "Whosoever transgresses and does NOT abide in the doctrine of Christ has NOT God. He that abides in the Doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son." (2 John 1:9)
So...if you believe in scripture...it really doesn't seem like a man that is "scaring" people about the necessity of Christ...but GOD HIMSELF.
If you believe NOT in the scripture...then we have no starting point for a discussion and this is all moot.
