I think it’s the other way around. What makes him think the Church, is going to change this one aspect of it’s doctrine just to suit society?

That’s the phrase that stood out to me.

Anyone who is a serious participant in the Catholic faith, knows that the opposite is the case. Catholic women/men who do not follow the prohibition of contraceptives are disconnected from their faith.

The bishops and priests have really allowed this disconnection though, by not preaching from the pulpit the truth of Catholic teaching.

And, how many of those Catholic couples who do practice birth control, have been informed of natural family planning?

This is just another example of people taking advantage of the uneducated/uniformed to tempt and draw people away from the Church.

Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses have been using this method for decades.
