“I’m a new person..no longer an addict”.
Denial is not a river in Egypt, ev. You may be a new person but you are still an addict.
That said, I am happy for you that you have found such a powerful antidote.

I would choose not to call God a liar. 2 Corinthians 5:17 "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, the old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new." 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 "...do not be deceived....nor drunkards...., and such were some of you , but you were washed, sanctified, justified." I'll choose to believe God over the philosophies and teachings of the world. I'll take a supernatural transformation performed by God; over the imperfect reformation of man's own doings. You see, my Higher Power Jesus Christ is the only True Higher Power. No other gods can transform the human spirit; for only Christ can raise the spiritually dead.
