What? It could not be more clear. She is naming him Immanuel. v’karah And (to call, name, give name to, call by) shemo (name) Immanu ‘el.

Matthew is wrong. He changes the text to read THEY. In order to avoid the unpleasant fact that Mary did not name him that. You can spin it if you want, but it is clear.
Furthermore, the whole point of the passage is that the sign is not a virgin birth but the age of the child. I posted it earlier.

To call the name Immanuel. Name the name Immanuel. Give name to Immanuel. Call by the name Immanuel. Note they would never give Him the name "God with us", they'd be accused of blasphemy. Who is they? They are Mary and Jesus. Mary called Him that, but Joseph is the one who gave Him the name Jesus.

They are the parents. They can do as they see fit and call their child as above and other folks can take their lead.

These are things done by a man whose person is a Trinity. He is one person, but lives in 2 worlds. One person in spirit instantiated by the machinery that provides an instantiation of that person in each world. As a man, He was to pray to the Father and was taught by the Father. There were things He didn't know, since He wasn't taught them. There is nothing hard to understand about that. Folks aren't born educated. The spirit in this world is a bijection and onto the machinery that provides the functions of a sentient rational being in eternity, not the other way around. Immortal does not choose to become mortal.

Pigs are penned, not herded. Those were wild pigs and the Jews didn't farm, or eat them.

Who would God send to teach who He was? Would He send a man, a prophet, pr would He show up in person? Who would God choose to be His right hand man other than Himself?
Two things are written. Moses said the above woman was to be killed according to how much she displeased God by her act(s). Jesus forgave her and did not toss any stones. These are the things that need to be examined in order to know who God is. The values and morals God holds are the things that are to be examined. Accordingly, in Matt 12:31,32 Jesus said, "And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."

The sign was the explicit presence of and teaching by God Himself, not just some man claiming to be His representative.
A lot of bad ideas came out of Germany and they didn’t start or end with Luther. At the same time a lot of good came out of Germany and branding a country or its people isn’t accurate. Culture matters, but it cuts both ways.
I didn’t say anything about Germany specifically. I said Luther proposed a Final Solution that was much like that of his intellectual heirs. Unfortunately such garbage crosses cultural and national borders. I lived in Germany for over a year. Nice place. Nice people. I am of some German descent and have a German surname. All American culturally and with my allegiance.
