Yep, you are exactly right. Jesus is the Lord.

Unfortunately, you left the very church that he started. You left the Eucharist.

I thank God every single day that He made me Catholic. It is a gift and I am so very thankful for it and so sorry that you gave up that wonderful gift.

Don't worry, ME, as long as you believe that Jesus Christ died to save you from your sins, you are His and you HAVE eternal life. Like Mormons, some Catholics also like to brow beat others into accepting that they alone are the TRUE church and ONLY their church is the "true" church. But those of us who know what the Scripture says have the assurance that all those who are IN Christ are made righteous by His precious blood. If we are in Christ, we are members of His body and we know Him and he knows us.

I also left the Catholic religion when I heard the true gospel as Jesus spoke it in John 10:27-30, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one." That assurance of salvation - something neither Mormonism or Catholicism can give - is the TRUE Gospel. That we are saved by the grace of God THROUGH faith and not of works is how we CAN know we are redeemed. THAT is the faith that was at the beginning. THAT was the gospel preached by Jesus and handed down from His Apostles and disciples and why we STILL can know it today - GOD made sure of it! Don't let anyone ever take away your joy in the Lord.
