However He DID say "...Be not afraid, only believe." (Mark 5:36)
possibly they didn't read this:
1 Pet. 3:20-21: " It (Baptism )saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ" and Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved.
Matt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Luke 13:3 [U]nless you repent you will all likewise perish.
John 6:54 [H]e who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
Matt 25:31-46 34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
There is no "alone" except saved by Grace Alone. Christ Himself teaches -- repent, believe, be baptised, love and help your neighbor and endure to the end
If anyone got fooled into it being just faith ALONE, then they should take it up with Jesus Christ
