Some percentage of every generation believes they are in end times, and it never pans out.
You are almost certainly wrong too.
Peter the Roman could be anyone.
Peter might just mean “Pope.”
Roman could mean he will be a Statist, an ally of the European Union or a persecutor of Christians and Jews.
The target was not WND. Jerome Corsi is a patriot, and that cannot be tolerated by certain scum buckets.
Should Cardinal Turkson be elected, I won't know what to think. While not knowing what to think makes it less likely that I, personally, would express an opinion, not knowing what to think has never stopped our media newsreaders from babbling on and on...
His being an African and clearly qualified, it would be fun watching a lot of anti-Catholic liberal atheist's heads explode, trying to reconcile his qualified views on "social justice," for example, and his race with his opinions on the best ways to contain the HIV/AIDS epidemic ravaging that continent.
Conservatives in America will find a lot to cautiously admire in a "Peter II," but much to suspect with regard to his views on global banks and global taxation, and global "authorities."
A quick read of the entry on Peter Turkson appears to show him clearly qualified, it shows why he's a contender.
There is also good reason to see why he could be described as "a Roman," also. And what wouldn't many do with a name like "Turk Son?"
Two scriptural references come to my mind, anyway. Habakkuk 1:5 and Matthew 7:15.
Interesting times. Take care, pilgrim.
Here is another interesting prophecy while we are on that topic:
Saint Hildegard (12th Century)
The time is coming when princes and peoples will reject the authority of the Pope. Some countries will prefer their own Church rulers to the Pope. The German Empire will be divided.
Done
***Before the comet comes (big one expected this year), many nations, the good excepted, will be scourged by want and famine. The great nation in the ocean that is inhabited by people of different tribes and descent will be devastated by earthquake, storm, and tidal wave. It will be divided and, in great part, submerged. That nation will also have many misfortunes at sea and lose its colonies.***
Sounds like a LOT of bad news for America....
[After the] great Comet, the great nation will be devastated by earthquakes, storms, and great waves of water, causing much want and plagues. The ocean will also flood many other countries, so that all coastal cities will live in fear, with many destroyed.
More bad news for America
All sea coast cities will be fearful, and many of them will be destroyed by tidal waves, and most living creatures will be killed, and even those who escape will die from a horrible disease. For in none of those cities does a person live according to the Laws of God.
Liberal cities go bye bye...
A powerful wind will rise in the North, carrying heavy fog and the densest dust, and it will fill their throats and eyes so that they will cease their butchery and be stricken with a great fear.
Sounds a helluva lot like Yellowstone blowing it’s top....
Me, too; but, fear not! - look up for our redemption draweth nigh.
“Some percentage of every generation believes they are in end times, and it never pans out. You are almost certainly wrong too.”
I am very old and never thought the end times had started - now, I do. I said what I think and you just said what you think. Neither of us can be absolutely sure, so no problem.
LOL!!!!!
that's true....Christ gave the name Peter to the first one....he didn't "take" it!!
sorry, but this Prophecy was supposedly written by St. Malachy in 1148 and yet was only published for the first time in 1595 — 450 years later...vague at best...
not going to happen - Popes JPII and Benedict stocked the college of Cardinals with staunch conservatives...
