People who kill themselves are either in pain or terribly self-focused. They don’t care how their act hurts others. It’s all about them.
I tried it when I was 17. It was stupid of me. It’s the ultimate act of self-worship. Yeah, I know they have no hope for the future. I was there. But I should have been looking for hope.
I knew someone who did it because he went off his meds and thought he wanted to hurt his family. Everyone thought it was noble but I thought it was more noble to stay on the meds.
I hurt for the family but I also have anger for the son.

In fact mental illness like this goes so far down the rabbit hole that I don’t think it ever reaches the bottom with out hitting death in some cases.
To make matters worse the drugs they use to treat it often just make the person worse rather than better. I really don’t like anti depressent drugs and the way some docs pass them out like Pez. Yes I agree there are some that need medical treatment and we just can’t say to these people “you need Jesus” yes they need Jesus but they also need medial treatment in some cases. Mental illness is not cut and dry, and if not handled correctly you get what we have here.
