How come more people don’t go to church?

Can't find an interesting preacher that does not repeat the same thing I've heard a gazillion times.

The purpose of gathering in church on Sunday is to worship God. If you have heard the sermon a gazillion times before, it may well be the first time someone else, absent for a long time, is hearing it. Rejoice in the knowledge that you still have a church in which to worship God. Given the secularism of our contemporary society, those days may soon come to an end. Go! Do it out of love for our Savior!. He never promised good sermons.

The preacher is the most important thing. Find one that understands and can communicate the gospel clearly. If it is repetitive go to a different church. Go to a different one every week if you have to until you find one with a preacher that gets it done.

I agree. Have gone to the same church my whole life. Love the people and theres very little to complain about but i hate getting up early on my only day off but maybe wouldnt mind it as much if the minister was interesting. A little more fire and brimstone would be wonderful. Our world is so full of sin and addiction and temptation that it would be nice for my kids to hear it dealt with in church.
