Galatians 3
You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified?
This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?
Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?
As for foolishness, foolishness is one who rejects relationship in order to practice religion.
Gal 4:8 But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods. 9 But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage? 10 You observe days and months and seasons and years. 11 I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain.
They were returning to ways and false gods that they had served prior to coming to the Truth. They were observing days, months and seasons that were not of God, but rather of other gods. So it would seem your definition of 'foolishness' has quite a few holes in it as your definition is not that which Paul was speaking to. But hey, that is what happens when one doesn't read ALL the context, but only picks and chooses passages that seemingly seem to fit their religious dogma.
2Pe 3:15 and reckon the patience of our Lord as deliverance, as also our beloved brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him, 16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them concerning these matters, in which some are hard to understand, which those who are untaught and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do also the other Scriptures. 17 You, then, beloved ones, being forewarned, watch, lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the delusion of the lawless,
