Daniel Carroll, one of the Signers of the Constitution, was the older brother of Archbishop John Carroll. Both were cousins of Charles Carroll of Carrollton. Charles Carroll is also famous for being the last of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence to die—in 1832. Ironically, he was not in Philadelphia on July 4, 1776.
