I agree, Ge0ffrey, this is excellent. I'm working on an e-mail to my very respected pastor, who just this morning (in remarks about Pope Francis' trip to Lampedusa) failed to make the important distinctions which you made in just two tidy paragraphs.

The Works of Mercy don't translate directly into "Close our eyes, cover your ears, and do whatever is right and just, proper and helpful according to the Catholic moral principles of Nancy Pelosi."
