Perhaps you'll also notice that your citations are from dictionaries which provide self-proving answers. That is, you do not cite the Scriptures to prove your point, but other English sources which have no relationship to the Greek texts. There were no cathedrals in the first century gatherings; the believers were happy to meet in homes, market places, and river sides. The edifices created by Rome are simply self-aggrandizing structures more aptly related to the egos of men.

Recall, Jesus said the time was coming when we would not worship in this mountain or that, but in Spirit and truth. And, that time is here.
