Those who turn from the Church, or reject Her offer of salvation via the Sacraments, knowing full well what they are rejecting, there is no hope for (save their repentance of same). “For man loves the dark rather than the light, for he is a lover of the darkness and hates the light that exposes his sin” (paraphrased). I believe that was this Sunday’s Gospel reading.
