Well you missed the part of the multiple posts where I pointed out I was using two samples to hone down the discussion. I did so because it was evident the opposing view was not reading nor responding to those posts.

And Thomas was not the only verses referred to. I also included Jesus statement after the second temptation in Matthew 4. Do you have an answer for this?

Matthew 4:5-7 NASB

Then the devil took Him into the holy city and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, ‘H e will command His angels concerning You ‘; and ‘On their hands they will bear You up , So that You will not strike Your foot against a stone .’” Jesus said to him, “On the other hand, it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’”(NASB)

So do you have a response for both passages? If Thomas did not mean “God” what did he mean? I already provided the lexicon possibilities for theos and they are limited.

If The Son of God is not truly God and truly man, then what is His Nature? Is He an angel, or great prophet, or a lower divine being than the Father or a god? Is the Son of God a created Being or always existed with the Father? Who is Yahweh?

It might help me if I knew which Bible version you are using. That would help with regards to viewing the lexicon.

The Jewish religious leaders took up stones to kill Jesus because he said he was the Son of God here:

Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”

Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”

“We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”

Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods”? If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside — what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father. But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” Again they tried to seize him, but he escaped their grasp. (John 10:25-39)

Jesus KNEW what the "rules" were concerning blasphemy and he was also telling them the TRUTH.

***I never get an answer to that, either. All they seem to know is that, they’re against Jesus being God. Beyond that, it’s a bit of a crapshoot.
