I did not write the article.

It came to me in an email.

The key puzzle is that the Rabbis started
this religious year one month early.

They did not wait for the Barley to ripen.

Chanukah will occur the end of December into January.

I don’t have a particular date in mind, but I did plug two things together to get a range. Thing number one: The bible seems to set the life span of a generation to be 70 years. Thing number two: The bible says, “this generation shall not pass away until all these things come to pass.

I believe the generation started in 1948, when Israel became a nation. You do the arithmatic.
