Of " swarthy complexion " with dark features like dark hair, dark eye brows, brown eyes, dark complexion, but not African, black.
Can be even dark red hair.
In some Irish families or even English decent, or even German, you can have offspring that some where born with blond hair blue eyes, and others with brown hair, red hair blue eyes, or brown hair, red hair brown eyes all in the same family.
Or some born with blond hair but later turn brown in later stages of life.
