Thanks. It took patches and e-cigs to keep on the path, but when my doctor told me that I had a choice of either quitting that day, or start losing my left foot one toe at a time a year later, I opted to keep all of my digits.

Congratulations on kicking the butt and joining the millions who have done likewise.
I started smoking in 1948 and went through 2 packs a day for the next 50 years, trying to quit a few times. Nothing worked for me until one day I heard Rush talk about getting rid of his “nicotine stained fingers”. I used his method and quit cold turkey. What was his method? Not thinking of all the negative things connected with smoking, but focusing on all the benefits to be gained by quitting. It worked for me. I don’t insert myself to a smoker who wants to quit, but if asked I tell them my experience.

How would smoking affect your feet? Did you already have circulation issues due to diabetes?
