I think Pope Francis is quite orthodox, ..

What makes you think that?

Ever since he's been elected, Pope Francis has done nothing but give encouragement to Jews, muslims, Protestants, atheists, etc., to remain in their "faiths" (or lack of "faith").

He's given encouragement to the homosexuals.

He's given encouragement to Hans Kung.

He's teased the divorced and remarried with Holy Communion.

He's viciously suppressed the traditional priestly order, Franciscans of the Immaculate.

Good morning! I learned as I rose to greet the dawn, courtesy of the Washington Post, that “The Church has lost its ability to dictate what people do”. A leading pollster has just discovered it. At great expense. Headline stuff it is.

It's been at long last discovered, as well, that not all of the Church's teachings are fully and completely up-to-date.

Oh dear! Whatever shall we do?

Plus he knows also that anything he says will get out into the media within seconds.

the poll of more than 12,000 Catholics in 12 countries reveals a church dramatically divided: Between the developing world in Africa and Asia, which hews closely to doctrine on these issues, and Western countries in Europe, North America and parts of Latin America, which strongly support practices that the church teaches are immoral.

Rome sent the West thousands of bishops who hated the Church. In the U.S., they were called “Jadot bishops” after Jean Jadot, the Apostolic Delegate. They were the bishops who did not believe Humanae Vitae, who gave us the “Peace Pastoral” and the “Economic Pastoral,” both of which Ronald Reagan fortunately ignored. They were the “Seamless Garment” bishops—i.e., the anti-pro-life bishops (Hickey) and the crypto-pro-abortion bishops (Bernardin).

Rome destroyed the Catholic Church in the West.
