when Lehi family left Jerusalem during the distruction.
___________________________________________

Was the Lehi family listed in any census in the Bible ???

Which tribe and family line are they suppose to be from ???

Getting back to the copy of the Old testament that this fictious family is suppose to have...

after the carrying away to Babylon they captives returned to rebuild Jerusalem..

Nehemiah was in charge of the building and he had Ezra read the only copy of “the book of the law” to the people ..

regular Jews didn’t have a copy of the laws of Moses and the prophets...they were too precious too holy..

they were kept in the Temple or with the Levites when they went into captivity..

but wherever the laws were there would only have been one or just a few...one in each synagogue maybe

When the Jews went to the synagogue they took turns reading out loud the words of Moses, Isaiah and the other prophets..

I don’t see God giving a regular Jew a copy of the laws and telling them to leave the promised land forever...

Israel was a reward to the Jews...a land set aside just for them..

for God to have banished this Lehi family (they sound Hawaiian) from the promised land, they must have displeased him..

Chapter 10
Lehi predicts that the Jews will be taken captive by the Babylonians—He tells of the coming among the Jews of a Messiah, a Savior, a Redeemer—Lehi tells also of the coming of the one who should baptize the Lamb of God—Lehi tells of the death and resurrection of the Messiah—He compares the scattering and gathering of Israel to an olive tree—Nephi speaks of the Son of God, of the gift of the Holy Ghost, and of the need for righteousness. About 600–592 B.C.
