Since John was a specific type of Jew like Samson, he never cut his hair, and wore camel hair robes. He probably looked worse that this photo shows him.

I found a lot of errors in the original movie that did not match my KJV.

The Bible is full of violence we all know that. Caused by greed, turning from GOD etc.

I'd be more worried about the violent commercials and lead ins.

Before the movie they had several commercials that I felt were in bad taste being that the feature movie was Son of God - one with Ellen Degeneres accomanied with a large number of what would appear to be from the LGBT pool dancing as an advertisement for the Oscars. There were also advertisements for several racey movies and one for Noah which looks like its going to have a lot of Hollywood written into it.
