Most, if not all, Protestant churches emphasize the sermon as the most important part of a Sunday service. No audience renders a sermon pointless.

Taking a cue from Jews, Catholics emphasize offering a public ritual without regard to how many are there. Definitely a strength of Catholicism.

"Definitely a weakness of Catholicism" could be said as well.

Neither have any EVIDENCE to back them up.
