My point was that if repented of it as a theft, he doesn’t still carry the item in a little pouch and talk like he thinks it’s no big deal. That is the part that concerns me and several others on this thread.

I think we’re on the same page then.

There’s a recent article out about how fewer Catholics are going to confession since Francis became pope; they no longer have shame for their sins. The Pope appears to be influencing them.

What’s interesting is the guy in the robe claimed that by lifting that little cross(?) he would get an xtra helping of mercy that the dead guy no longer needed...

Wait..... What????

No longer need? What about purgatory?

I think all the guys that wear the robes are a notch above the rest...They get a special pass directly to heaven...

Pity the poor young boys up there...

Isn't it true that Catholics don't consider those things like thieving inexpensive items as sin...Telling 'little' lies...Long as it's done in moderation...There's scripture for that ya know...

I don’t know. There’s got to be a list floating around some Catholic archive somewhere that tells all of them.

Otherwise, how would all the Catholics know where they stand and what they need to confess and what they don’t.

If there weren’t they might actually miss confessing something and end up burning for eternity.
