One would think the Holy Father’s use of the word “sodomy” would cause a fire storm and end the world’s love affair with him. I think the Pope’s supposed lack of orthodoxy is way overdone. He’s gotten in trouble a couple of times for using his words in a way the world could twist but I don’t really think he’s a radical departure from John Paul or Benedict as those with an agenda would have people believe.

I can’t seem to find this quote anywhere other than this source. I’m not buying it. And even if he did say it? He’s still a Modernist. They are known for saying both orthodox and heterodox things. It doesn’t make me feel any better.
