yes that was my point, did you read my original post? it IS much ado about anything. it is standard practice with papal audiences and was nothing special to Obama and the Pope had no inkling that Obama would pass it on to Pelosi. I despise the guy as much as anyone here, but i can’t even fault him for giving the rosary to Pelosi. He knows she’s catholic and figured it would mean more to her so he gave it to her.

If this arrogant ass was given a rosary he had to ask for it. It was nothing official and not worth mentioning in the press. If he was given a rosary by the Pope himself, that he had just blessed, it would have been news right along with the gifts that were presented to the creep. Like I say he might have got a dollar rosary somewhere, the ones that are passed out like candy, but the Pope didn’t give it to him.

I have to agree with you, most any of us would have given a Catholic friend a rosary from her Pope, as a thoughtful gift.

In Obama’s case it also is a public gift to one of his major party leaders, and it helps reinforce the pro-abortion, pro-democrat party position of most Catholic voters.
