Was Ted Kennedy excommunicated?

If he didn't repent of his sin of facilitating abortions before his death, yes. This goes for anyone who knowingly facilitates this scandal. And that's all I'm going to say about that.

Again, I'm not going to focus on some obsession to get these people excommunicated in a public fashion because I KNOW:

They are already excommunicated and ...

It wouldn't truly satisfy me if they WERE publicly excommunicated.

So I will not be baited into some "debate", the goal of which is merely to further the emotional and spiritual turmoil this scandal brings. That's what the devil wants, so anyone who wants to keep bringing up this subject is doing the devil's work IMO.

I shared what I shared in the hopes it would help both Catholics and non-Catholics realize there is nothing to be done, nothing that can be done, and thus no point in getting all worked up about this scandal. It's in God's hands now as it always in when faced with obstinacy in sin.

I didn't post to submerge myself in another pointless, prideful, anti-Catholic vs Catholic "debate" as so often springs up around here.

I'm certainly not here to debate, but it is only natural to wonder at how these respected Catholics who are treated as Catholic royalty and privileged members of the church by the Catholic denomination, are so casually dismissed here, to a non-catholic, conservative Christian audience.

We all know what Ted Kennedy was famous for, and being Catholic was one of them, as well as being a powerhouse for pro-abortion politics and the political party preferred by most Catholics.

Here is how the Catholic church buried him. Again, a strong political/spiritual message is sent to Catholic voters.
