If you read my first comment on this thread, I started by saying I love the Catholic people and the last few Popes and greatly admire the charity work the Catholic Church does, especially in hospitals.

What I don't like are their man-made rules that put an artificial barrier between God and his beloved people who Jesus, His only begotten Son who He loves, died for.

If you can't tell the difference between judging people and judging people's actions, that's your problem, not mine.

They are the “rules” teachings of the Catholic Church, the Church established by Jesus Christ and follow the teachings of Jesus.

There is no barrier between God and the Body of Christ (the Church) as he left us with the Sacraments, especially the Eucharist where we receive HIS body and blood at Mass. The doctrine of the Real Presence asserts that in the Holy Eucharist, Jesus is literally and wholly present—body and blood, soul and divinity—under the appearances of bread and wine. Evangelicals and Fundamentalists frequently attack this doctrine as “unbiblical,” but the Bible is forthright in declaring it (cf. 1 Cor. 10:16–17, 11:23–29; and, most forcefully, John 6:32–71).

You seem to assert that you know better than the Catholic Church the teachings of Jesus, and that you can judge those teachings.

If you love Catholics and a few Popes, why do you need to critize the teachings of the Church?
