The current pope seems to be an ecclesiastic version of Barack Obama: closet socialist; redistributionist; deals with differing opinions the “Chicago Way”; lets functionaries do the dirty work while smiling and doing photo-ops. Surprising he’s not on record wanting to “fundamentally change” the Catholic Church.
