Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Sheep are not the "brightest" of creatures. A Shepherd can lead them a long way to find water, but if that water is rushing and splashing, they will not drink. David was quite aware of this when he wrote this beautiful song. As a shepherd, it was his responsibility to lead the sheep somewhere quiet and tranquil, where they could peacefully quench their thirst. The analogy to life in the Spirit is quite clear. Let us pray that in our own spiritual journey that we will be open to God's gentle leading to rest with Him by the still waters.

Come and Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
