OK, what about protestants who believe that Jesus was just a great teacher? Or who believe that He didn’t actually mean that we could eat His Body and drink His blood? Do they actually believe that Jesus is the Son of God? Do they offer Him credence? The Muslims are a different sort in that they don’t recognize any authority that can interpret the Koran. I’d say they are somewhat like the Mormons who have their own idea about revelation based upon a book that was given to them by someone other than the men who knew Jesus. Our faith is not of a book alone. We have the testimony and tradition of the Church and the witness of the martyrs to guide us. Jesus said anyone can love those who love them. But He warned us to love our enemies.

Protestants do not believe that...

The Catholic Church recognizes other Christian Baptisms with the exception of Mormon and Jehovah’s Witnesses. Virtually all mainstream protestant churches baptize in the name of the Father and The Son and the Holly Spirit.
