Anyone can become saved, murderer, adulterer, thief, whatever.

Anyone who thinks that a saved person can or will sin with impunity demonstrates that they simply do not comprehend at all what saving faith is all about.

Salvation is not fire insurance. Anyone with the attitude that it is a free pass to sin was not saved to begin with.

Besides, I don’t see that demanding that works are needed as part of the salvation process has made an iota of difference in how the average Catholic leads their own personal lives.

The only unpardonable sin is to refuse the Holy Spirit to speak through you when you are delivered up to the antichrist for testimony. That is what is written. All the rest is left to the mercy of the Lord at judgment day.
