The basic tenets appear to be positive and similiar to the Catholic teachings, but I really don’t have sufficient information to advise you.

What would you advise a fellow Catholic that has claimed that the WESLEYAN doctrine contains error?

I would advise any Catholic (or non Catholic) to follow the teachings of Jesus as directed by Jesus to Peter and the Catholic Church.(Matthew 16:18-20)

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

While I do not know the religious beliefs or practices of your church, I do feel that most other Christian churches were established by man and do not follow all the teachings of Jesus or the Catholic Church. I am sure that the intentions are good and that they attempt to follow Jesus. I hope that there will be unity as promised by Christ and that the many will join Jesus in Heaven.

I am more concerned with all the bad things that people do to each other (whether reported in the news or not). I do believe that people of Faith can move mountains if we do so with God’s help.

.
